I think I know the answer to this (make the join outside the bathroom) but would it be possible to make the joins under the bathroom floor with wagos/wagobox, then put the wole thing in say an IP55 junction box?
I'd like to avoid too much (more) disruption and ripping up floors . . .
As far as I know under the floor is outside of the bathroom zones just as above the ceiling.
As long as the floor can't be removed without a tool. So under a hatch is potentially still in the zones, but if the hatch is locked or screwed shut then it's not. It's still probably prudent to keep the wires away from pipes or any other sources of leaks and/or to waterproof the junction box, but it's not strictly required.

Wagos in a wago box will be fine - no need for additional enclosures.
Under the floor is not in a "Zone".
