Yes I could - but that's a lot of routing (over 3m of board) at the hands of a low-mid grade operator ;-)
I think what i'll do is cut back the board a few cm, which will allow a strip of about 10cm deep 25mm PIR, which I can face with some 6mm pine cladding I have. I'm just at the stage of measuring/cutting the board at the moment - rain holding things up.
Incidentally, with the window board off the stone cill was wet with condensation last night - with an outside temp of 2C the cill measured 5C, the window frame 15C. The window board used to get similarly cold when it was fitted - but I never noticed condensation forming on it.
I've read the explanation of why varying levels of condensation forms on different materials when they're the same below-dew point temperature - some of which even I understand. But most I don't.
