Interesting idea: not really my experience though. I almost always head for Google to find out more about something I've been reading about on other sites so Google would mostly be my fifth... sixth... tenth activity with that browser in that session.

If I haven't mentioned before, and in case it's relevant I almost always browse with Javascript off and I have to turn Javascript back on to play with the Captchas. I have always turned off Javascript in order to skip most of the annoying cookie requests and because it is often an easy way to bypass certain paywalls. I've been doing that for years but being mistaken for a robot has only been happening to me for the last month or so.

Yes but the idea would be to not have a human, spamming works by sending to multiple places like a scatter gun before a server gets blocked. I imagine there are only a finite number of picture sets so once it learns them it will try them all before selecting. The question aimed at humans approach only works if you understand why one answer is correct and it appears for us oldies, we are worse at this than a learning system with AI.

Yes but the voice is so jumbled up that you cannot understand it. That is done to stop the speech recognition system working. Brian

Yes ticket sites do the same as well, as many try to automate things as soon as convert tickets go on sale meaning that just after it opens all the tickets are gone, so they try to screen out the automated login and buy merchants to give everyone a fighting chance. I mean would you pay 600 quid to see Paul McCartney in Australia?
