Hi,
I need to know how thick 1/2" tap washers are, I don't have one at hand and need to make one. I looked at British Standards web site and they want to charge me £46 quid for a PDF standard.

If you have a library subscription, you can view (naq vs farnxl qbjaybnq) the BS documents, if you don't have a library subscription Manchester aren't fussy ...
BS 5412:1996 shows replacement type 1, 2 and 3 flat washers as being between 4.0 and 4.4mm thick

Would not it depend on the material it is made of?
West Sussex libraries allow you to look at them online via thieir own portal, and you can print up to 4 pages and only pay the library fee.
