I have a smaller stove replaced and now have a large gap because the cooker hob is a little oval and the originnal was square. How should i go about patching the hole?

Well you'll presumably need to re-tile the whole worktop with new tiles, unless you can get a few more tiles to match. However, of course you need to fill in the gap first... but what's the worktop made of? I can't work it out.
