I just plug my SSDs and M2s into the USB ports.
3.73 / 3.64 = 1.024, so some are quoted in Terabytes, others are in Tebibytes
If it had happened at 2.0TB rather than 1.4TB, it would point to an MBR vs GPT issue, it could be a motherboard firmware issue, or the drive has faked its size ...

And that's why I only buy drives from brands I have heard of that actually have a reputation to lose
Funny you should say that. I used "baulked" but my spell checker wanted "balked".
And it's done it again it baulked at baulked", I will add it to the dictionary.
I did some research and Orico do produce a lot of memory kit, perhaps I was unlucky. Anyway it is in a cardboard envelope with a stylised arrow on the front which in this case means return to sender!
That's US spelling. Atre you using the right dictionary.
