I was in a house yesterday with a really weird (faulty!) arrangement for the hall/landing lights.
With the landing switch in one position, the hall switch operates both lights correctly, turning them on and off. With the landing switch in the other position, the hall switch will turn the landing light on and off but the hall light stays on all the time.
What's going on?
