I am about to lay LVT in the bathroom and we want to take the flooring into the hallway. The issue is that the bathroom has Caberdeck chipboard floor, the hallway is T&G. I am concerned that the LVT may display ripples on the T&G.
In the past in a similar situation I simply overboarded the T&G with ply and I suppose to avoid a step where the two floors meet I could overboard the bathroom too. However, I want to avoid the extra work and cost and wonder if I could simply use levelling compound on the T&G.
Any suggestions about what to use if it possible?
