Electric drills, bits and mistakes

I gave up on my partner's Micra, I just couldn't get enough force at the right angle to get the headlamp bulb out.

In many cases, one of the biggest issues is knowing how hard and in which direction to twist or heave - success is very close to fracture. :-(

The above DeWalt's arrived yesterday. What a difference! And the extra length was useful too.

Thanks for all the advice and suggestions.

PZ2 for 90% of screws, PH2 for drywall screws

Get impact bits. use a bit extender

My Makita corded impact driver is fantastic, (so good that when the first died I bought another)

- but after driving into oak roof joists it sometimes cant remove them.

The way bits go in to the driver means i can unscrew, unlike a normal drills which loosen
