No, because the meetings aren't suitable for that. Some are and some aren't, and these were very far into the ones which aren't.

I'm sure I lost a very good contract earlier this year because I foolishly thought I could video conference a pitch into Beijing (to an organisation much into such video conferences), but the only other bidder turned up in person and although their bid offered less, they were the one accepted. Often, only the personal touch works.
