Draining CH System and Towel Rad Question

Jul 18, 2005 0 Replies

Hello All

I've got to add some additional piping to the upstairs radiator feeds to accomodate new rads and I need to drain the system. Previously when I was doing the downstairs rads I just used a drain c*ck which was on the end of one of the rads in the kitchen. Unfortunately this rad no longer exists and the pipe has been capped off. Can I just use the feed to the Rads upstairs to drain the system or will the system need draining from a downstairs rad? I cant see any reason why this shouldn't be ok but just thought I'd ask to double check.

Also I have bought a towel radiator (dual energy) and plan to plumb this in, can I just take a feed and return from an existing radiator?

TIA

Cheers

Richard
