Door lock screws

I'm looking for a supplier of the small screws that fix the brass plate onto the outside of a door lock.

The lock itself is fixed into the door with ordinary wood screws. The cover plate is then fixed to the lock with 2 small machine thread screws. The screws have a countersunk head with a thread about 4mm external diameter and the whole screw is only about 7mm long. Do they have a special name? I can't find a supplier. The sheds don't seem to stock them and even the local hardware store hasn't got spares either. Does anyone know where to get them please?

If you do know the exact spec, Ebay may be the easiest way for a few.

Try a 4mm threaded screw, if it fits, cut it down to 7mm.

If you've got an outside diameter to measure then finding this is fairly trivial using your trusty ?8.50 aldlidl digital calipers. However for inside diameters it can be handy to keep a tin filled with any odd sized screws you come across which can then be threaded into any inside diameters which need to be measured and if successful, subsequently measured.
