Hi all
I have a problem with a slight leak on the inlet side of the water chamber thing on the side of the dishwasher. The chamber has o rings on each of the "pipes" which then locate into the various fittings on the dishwasher. The leak seems to be one of the o rings not sealed properly. So a few questions
- Should I put the in o rings on the chamber "pipes" and then locate them all into the dishwasher ports or put thebo rings into the ports and locate the chamber pipes into them.
- If this doesn't fix the leak was thinking if putting some LS-X around top and bottom of the o ring. I believe this doesn't "set" so would enable me to take the chamber back out at another time. Is this correct / is this a good idea?
- I have tried looking for O rings to replace them but they seem to have a variety of diameter and thicknesses - although I can't find somewhere who specify what they are to compare. Is this critical or is there usually enough flex / stretch to not make this an issue?
Anyone have any other cunning ideas?
Thanks
Lee.
