I've recently come across Stockpile.co.uk and can't thank them enough for the huge savings they allowed me to make when re-doing most of my house. They were very helpful and patient and have the best prices I've seen anywhere! All of their stock is at the end of it's line - though really - it's still a very well chosen selection. They stock everything - from full kitchen and bathroom suites, to replacement doors and drawers, free standing baths, taps, showers, wardrobes - even dishwashers and ovens etc - and all at hugely discounted prices. Check them out before you go elsewhere. They deliver to all of the UK and Ireland.
All the best, Louise

A load of spam.

And if you think that's subtle - it isn't. Why not be upfront and just advertise?

Not what you'd expect from a postgrad in consumer psychology eh?
And to think there's mugs paying her for this sort of crap.

If people want to know more, they could always email you at:

Ta or that. But I tend to prefer to mail the sponsors - snipped-for-privacy@stockpile.co.uk - with the comment "The fact that you pay for spam like that below makes me very much less inclined ever to do with business with you. After all, if you are paying liars to lie for you......"

OTOH, without the spam you'd probably never have heard of them.
I did actually email them about some wall cupboards and contrary to the 'discontinued stock' claim, they actually make the cabinets to order.
Providing the spec sounded OK, which is does, I'll probably go with them, as they do exactly what I need.
Not a big deal really. All retailer use slightly questionable methods, especially in these hard times.

... and that doesn't look very honest either.

Spammers are liars and thieves. Do you really want to do business with liars and thieves?

Rule #1. Spammers lie.

And every time you do business with a spammer, a cute fluffy kitten gets fed into a mincer.

Well, seeing as one kitchen company that has the cabinet I want has a £700 min order and Screwfix, for a length of lighting pelmet, a £500 limit, I will go to whoever provides the goods I require. Having said that, B&Q do something similar, so I may choose that option, but then again, I see enough complaints here about B&Q.

No. Got to accept that is a bad sign.

Did that too, of course...!

You're paying for them to send you advertising. Think of it as someone sending you a brochure in the post with postage owing.
(And if you think the sums involved are small, think on this; At my place of employ, we reject ~13,000,000 spam emails a day. The infrastructure to do this costs considerable sums of money, which is paid for by our customers.)

Good morning all, this post has just come to my attention and I have to say I am absolutely horrified by what has been talked about. Everyone has taken the totally wrong end of the stick on this one. I hope I can explain as fully and as honestly as I can. This is hugely important to me I have built this business from nothing to now our warehouse sending out stock to all over the UK and Ireland. I will try to address as many points as I can, please feel free to email me direct at snipped-for-privacy@stockpile.co.uk or phone me on 02879387054 and I will help in any way I can.
The website was registered from the desk in my home house as an individual with a view to start a new business. That is why it is not registered to a business as there simply was no business at that and did not want my home address on the internet as was working for another company at the time. The company trading warehouse address has always been clearly stated on the web site.
Stockpile used the services of an external contractor to do the web marking, this involved SEO and web marketing. I had left this to this company to do this for me and did not have a direct input to what exactly was being placed on the internet. It appears that an advert was placed on this site which everyone has rightly seen straight through and have rightly taken offence to it being there. I whole heartedly apologize on behalf of the company, we have made a mistake which I will do my level best to rectify. I will make sure that we as a company will never post contrived adverts again. This contractor is probably guilty of naivety on this aspect of this business. Our website contains 100% genuine recommendations and I can confirm each and every one. I am very grateful for one of the posters for bringing this to my attention by emailing me directly. Please let me assure everyone we are totally honest and legitimate businesses who have many satisfied customers. Please take this as an apology as I admit a mistake was made. thank you
