I use to visit them regularly and do business with them on a very large scale at the time (their infrastructure division, not handsets).

Their arrogance was breathtaking...

I remember one of my colleagues commenting that they would end up like Maggie Thatcher - no friends and/or visitors (or customers in their case)...

I got a Y300-0100 over 3 years ago and it's been fine. Battery life is ok, although I keep anything draining (wifi, etc) off until I need to use it.

As to spying, well, I wouldn't be surprised as it seems to be the norm for everything these days. I'd be more surprised if there wasn't any spyware on it.

I was humorously referring to chinese govt spying, both Australia and USA and maybe others, wont' let Huawei have big government contracts because they perceive threats
