never seen so many people park in the car park across from here to go and piss in the bushes ....just shows what happens when everything is closed....

Actually this public loo issue has been on the radio, and No10 is considering giving councils money to reopen the toilets as drivers can no longer pop in to shops etc to relieve themselves. Kind of makes you wonder how the outback truckers manage though. Brian

In the 1990s when I was agency van driving, I went out one day as a matein a 13 ton truck and was quite surprised when the driver suddenly pulled up by the curb and got out of the truck in a hurry, without saying anything. He dashed round the back and had a piss by the nearside back wheel.

There was some sort of archaic proviso, though. They had to keep a bale of hay in the back of the cab to qualify for the privilege IIRC. Without that, they were technically in breach of the law.
