If you are overweight thenm eat more mneat and fats and roughage
Since I started that I dont feel that hungry
.
Thats because you aren't interested - you are just a troll.
In particular the academic overview
A you overweight and insulin resistant?
no they don't, there are "loss leaders" to get people into the store.
I survived a massive heart attack 8 years ago, despite being comparatively low risk. I have never smoked and never will - I loathe the smell of cigarettes, though cigars and pipe tobacco are fine; I drank just a little alcohol - indeed more since my heart attach after I was "prescribed" a glass of wine (esp red) or a pint of beer five nights out of seven; I didn't eat
*very* unhealthily; I was moderately fit - certainly not a couch potato. And yet I suffered a heart attack and cardiac arrest without any warning. Such is life.Since then I *try* to eat more healthily. I eat far more vegetables than I used to, despite finding the taste of most vegetables (*) vile and spoiling a good meal, because I know they are good for me and because it's socially acceptable to eat a mound of "greens" without complaint. I probably eat a bit more healthy meat (venison, pork, ostrich, chicken, duck and fish) and less "bad" red meat (beef, lamb) that I used to. I don't eat doughnuts any more (!) and I've gone off cheese.
Part of my problem is that my heart attack changed my sense of taste so I can't taste meat as strongly as I could, but my vegetable taste buds have had their "volume" turned up to 11.
I could definitely eat a lot more than I do. I try very hard not to overindulge - and almost always i succeed. But going through life without feeling hungry most of the time - no way. Why is it that all the enjoyable foods are bad for you ;-(
(*) I like raw carrots and celery, though as a snack rather than with a meal, but any stalk/leaf veg (broccoli, beans, kale, cabbage, cauliflower. asparagus, sprouts) has that horrible "green" flavour (bitter, cabbagey) that masks everything else. I wish I liked veg...
Its very far from clear that they are that.
If they do claim that, that?s more evidence that its just another nutty fad without any rigorous science to substantiate their claim.
Much earlier than that, usually 3-4am
Yep. Nothing to drink either.
You're nearly as freaky as me }-(
Couldnt find it there either. Its as well hidden as the book.
Thanks for that. But none of the references come even close too being a proper double blind trial from a peer reviewed medical journal that substantiates their claim that its only carbs that matter and that they are close to poison.
Nope, not either. But you didn?t say that the carb effect you claimed is only seen with those.
Its another medical fad diet without a shred of rigorous science to substantiate it, just a variation on the rationale for Atkins which some stupid politician has been stupid enough to buy.
I see you havent even bothered to read what the web site says or the clinical references it gives.
The NHS is not in the habit of funding programmes that dont work or are based on junk scince
You haven't actually checked any of them have you?
e.g., at random
Troll
Suggesting Rod get informed is useless.
they do. Good to hear they're beginning to get real on diet though.
NT
Telling someone you don't know from another very different country to yours what they used to eat in their childhood is at best moronic.
Indeed, although they got a fun day out for their money, and some extra stimulation into the local economy. The charity obviously did better out of it as well.
Do the charity publish how much of these donations were used as the fundraising costs? I believe they would treat it as a £xk donation from a third party with no fundraising costs to themselves.
The main problem is when the public get no extra from giving to a third party fund raising company such as signing up to a DD where all the payments in the first year are kept by the third party as their commission.
Then there are the companies busing in to an area a group of door knocking sales people selling shoddy goods on behalf of some charity. A charity may be lucky to see as much as 5% of the profit.
Collectors outside of supermarkets and in retail parks are often collecting for a "generic" childrens charity which makes it very suspicious that no charity is involved at all.
Homeopathy?
Actually some people do recover on homeopathy, presumably due to the placebo effect. So it can be useful when all else fails. But they pay an absurd amount to the practitioners, who don't need any expertise beyond the skills of dealing with patients plus a computer look up table.
NT
Not aware that it funds homeopathy
Sure there are masses of con artists out there and plenty of somewhat legit but shady operators. That does not mean that all sub contracted fund raising is necessarily a scam or whatever. If you are going to employ a professional to do something for you, then expect to have to pay for it somehow.
I didn?t say what HE ate in his childhood, f****it.
Trivial to see what was common in england at the time he was a child tho.
junk snipped
he did
which is a bit immaterial. Keep being a prat.
