I have long said that we should have a ballot on nuclear and, if the vote is against it, those that voted against it should be the ones to be cut-off if there is a power shortage.

And if they change their mind, should stay on the cut-off list until the next nuclear power station that gets approved after that comes online.

If we had a ballot we'd find the majority of UK people want nuclear power, probably more so since the energy crisis.

Its not a matter of stupidity, its a matter oi ignorance or pure corruption.

$3.8 tn has been spent on renewable energy, funded by taxpayers and consumers. Then there are grants for heatpumps etc etc.

Renewable energy is a goose that lays golden eggs - or rather a gullible public are.

But the public has run out of cash, and patience
