Bike pump

I know there are at least two cyclists here....

Some cyclist, having repaired his puncture on my forecourt, forgot to pack away his pump.

Now I have a bike but no pump so my initial inclination was to purloin it:-)

Unfortunately I have discovered it has been adapted presumably to Presta valves and no longer suits the Schrader valves I have.

Is there a solution?

Presta to Schrader adapter perchance?

Depending on the pump, the part that connects to the valve directly may have a section that unscrews allowing you to reverse an internal rubber seal turning it into a schrader fitting.

Tell me that you are not a cyclist.

Er... that seems to convert my bike to the other version. Certainly a way forward.

Yes. The rightful owner has taken out the bits that allow it to fit Schrader valves.

I ride a bike 3 or 4 times a week. She does not have any wheels.

You actually ride a child's toy? How demeaning.
