Are shower pods made from GRP ok?

I am considering installing a GRP-plus-gel-coat shower pod.

Has anyone got experience of how a shower pod made from GRP-plus-gel-coat stands up to everyday wear and tear? Is it easy to keep clean? Is the surface robust and long lasting?
