My oven will not accept any control input while the clock display is flashing. More insidiously, any but the correct input for clock adustment sets and starts the clock. So I try to do it at least 12 hours out for least ambiguity.
Anyone else woken up an hour early?

I not only have to wrap these christmas presents but I need to give them to the recipient this week as they'll go off otherwise. I bought them reduced for quick sale and they won't last 'till christmas.
Either they'll go off or I'll eat them myself. I have no self-control where dark mint chocolate is concerned.

Returning from Hucknall to Lincoln yesterday afternoon I was astonished to note that the estimated journey time was a mere two minutes.
Guess who didn't correct the car's clock?
Decades ago there was an advert (I think) for Martini, with a tag line "Any time any place anywhere". Either that or it's maybe categorised as a fancy liquor?

I always buy christmas puds just after christmas. The ones with added booze keep for ages.
Mine has an ECO mode so it switches off the display after 5 minutes. Leaving a clock on display just makes the display fade or fail more quickly.
I'd blame Brexit.
My ovens the same but it doesn't have to show the correct time but it's more annoying to have it show the wrong time.
