Normally we meet up at 6.10am to go to work but he wants to go to work
I am happy to do that - but he wants to know the new meeting time.

He's worked out that, if you meet 25 minutes earlier, that will be fine, as there will be less traffic then, and the journey will be 5 mins faster?
The time of the journey is usually decided on how fast I want to drive and how many pillocks get in my way.
ZZOOMM drivers are the biggest pillocks I have met on the A1 so far.
Tell him 4:30 am and leave him waiting for an hour. Also tell him the clocks change and he needs to put his clock forward by one hour before going to bed.
Tell him you're going to work at the usual time and he can take 30 mins off his lunch and leave early.

not politic if it would mean the chap is denied his entitlement to a 20 minute break (30 minutes if under 18).
And not practicable if the arrangement involves Adam providing transport in both directions.
Then, Adam would also need to shorten his lunch break by half an hour. Maybe, they only take a half hour break anyway?

Apart from he was later so I left him.
Swears blind he was there from 5.30, which is the time I turned up and I have a dashcam to show he was not there and a tracked van to show where I was and at what time.
I send him a text message to say I was leaving - he replied back saying he was there so I called him - no answer - probably because if he answered it would have given the game away that we was on the M62 and late.
It is a 30 minute unpaid lunch break we have.
