I am trying to purchase a kitchen knife, but keep getting rebuffed by the verification system. Tried customer services, but no help. I have been through the circular loop at least a dozen time.
Has anyone been able to use the verification successfully.?

No help, but it's axiomatic that if an age verification system is mistakenly rejecting an adult it will also be permitting a minor.
You mean, ask an 8 year old for help?
You can see the issue has reached -- nowhere, on the support ladder. Amazon might as well be saying "we don't sell bladed items in the UK", with the response they are making. It's support-circles-in-the-mud for fun.
The very first time I did business with Amazon, they did a bait and switch on me, and an elephant never forgets. There have been zero subsequent attempts to do business.
