Mains fault?

Battery bolloxed?

Combination of both?

Mains and fuses fine. Substituted battery

Still same prob :)

Hi Check pcb fuse carriers/fuses may be dirty with age ,check external bell if SAB or SCB nicads may be goosed. Or look round for a battery operated smoke detector or similar near the panel .(Fooled me once found a mobile dropped behind a rad near the panel).

Been caught myself in kitchen looking for intermittent strange beeping noise, (2 weeks to find battery goosed spare smoke detector placed under sink by SWMBO)

External Bell box never even gave it a thought, arrange ladder from m8 and will check out.

Thanks for the tip...

Bell box battery pack it appears to be, replaced and fingers crossed the fault has disappeared (peace....ahhhhhhh)

Many thanks I had not even considered the bell box battery pack. just goes to show...

Cheers

If he had the Interweb he could have downloaded this:

Maybe it's surfaced again, like The Creature from the Black Lagoon? Still going off at random, Even After All These Years.

Bill Boyd, our resident expert alarm installer was probably still with us back then.
