Which make/model out of interest ?
Was going to buy AF300UK 7.6L but saw many comments on-line that people were changing these out to get larger model. So I got the Ninja AF400UK 9.5L its 2 drawer and the ability to sync end times when cooking at different temp / duration in each 'drawer; is very useful.
Dehydrator function is good - dried out some chillies last week.
I've just made cheese on toast in my air fryer.
Put Branston and cheese on a slice of bread, pop it in the fryer for 5 mins.
Came out perfect. Only one slice at a time, though, so I kept popping back to the kitchen. The next one was cooking as I ate the last.
I'm about to buy an "Air Fryer Single-layer Cooking Rack" from eBay so I can do a pastie and chips at the same time.
On their own, yes. I microwave them, halve them and scoop out the spud, mash with cheese, butter and pepper, maybe some fried onion or chopped scallions, then refill the skins and cook in the normal oven for 20 mins. Saves a lot of time and the results are good.
The normal oven will use a lot of energy, including pre-heating.
Just get to like microwaved jacket potatoes! The skins are soft so you can eat them along with the flesh.
I like toasted cheese sandwiches done in my contact ("George Foreman") grill. Just put slices of cheese between the bread slices and put in the grill for 4 minutes. I also do toasted sausage sandwiches: use the thin sausages (e.g. Richmond), grill them first (for 5-7 minutes), split them, put them between buttered bread slices and toast for 5 minutes.
You can eat crispy skin too. Much much tastier IMO.

Top tip, ta :-)
I just chuck everything in the basket and give it a shake half way through - seems to work.
If dedicated cookers for specific meals are trendy, maybe you could get one of these beans on toast devices?
If you've an all in one microwave the convection oven (on mine at least) is rated at 1300W. So not much more than the 1000W microwave, and I'd guess it cycles a lot more.

Does it butter the toast and spread the beans on it?
Nooo. Beans need to be far away from toast.
Aldi and Lidl apparently have more stocks of their air-fryers in-store from ?5th Jan.
What's the problem?. I have a 600W oil burning heater in my kitchen that I use as a permanently hot oven.
Its called an 'Aga'
I pay for the heating, - the cooking comes free
But you don't get crispy skin by just dipping the unpeeled potatoe in olive oil.
No thanks, I much prefer roast potatoes done in the air fryer for all but steak, chops and sausages.
Yep, but roast potatoes are mich better for all but steak, chops and sausages.
Just tried it with a different potatoe variety.
Dipping the potatoe in olive oil unpeeled doesnt see the pototoe anything like as crispy as with the same variety peeled first.
For crispiness, they need to be waxy type potatoes - not starchy. And then rinsed or even blanched, then dried thoroughly.
For any hope of a peeled potato holding enough oil to count it'll need to be part boiled, then roughed up with a sharp shake in the dry lidded pan.
I don't find that with the peeled ones.
Don't find that either. Just dipping that variety peeled in olive oil is all that's needed.
