The operative word in that example is “shower”, those chairs will be no good in a bath as baths do not have a flat surface for it to stand on. Short on changing your bath for a walk in with a door and built in seating which requires to remain in the bath until it has emptied the only other solution if you want to keep your existing bath is use one of those devices that is a belt attached to the floor and the wall. The belt is lowered into the bath and you sit on it. When you need to get out a winch usually electric winds up the belt thus raising you into a seating position that you can easily stand up from. I will try to find an example tomorrow.

Here is an example of what I was thinking of. I notice the supplier also has some specific chairs for baths but like all these specialist devices they do come at a price.

There was one of those fitted in my previous house, first thing I took out! The 9" stool will work if I get it the right way up, once I am seated on that I can get out.

My technique for getting out of the bath is to turn over, so that I am kneeling in it. With hands on both sides, I can bring one knee forward and then simply stand up.
