I never worshipped her, but I think she did a fair job in halting - temporarily as it turned out, the descent into '1984' that we are now engaged on. I happen to think that a better world results when people have the power and the money and the education to make their own bit of the world a better place in whatever way they understand that. They are absolute slaves to laziness.

It was a stupid claim to make and had never been true for more than a century before he ran that stupid line.

He gave a talk here, just after 'that' speech, on Reforming the NHS. But, nobody listened to him.
