Goes well with the faux cat.

With all your free electricity, wouldn't it be cheaper to *be* warm rather than *look* warm?

I am keeping the gas CH in case we have a power cut.

And what will run the pump on the boiler?

ah - you might be in for a nastly surprise. Gas boilers need electricity to run - as does the circulation pump.

Dunno, but the CH stays on during power cuts - gravity feed?

I wouldn't call £450 faux coal.

Cheers

UPS - those things that run computers. I have my lighting running off it (mainly to make the LED bulbs last longer as it regulates the voltage).

It does, but we didn't burn wood in 1963.

Crikey - £450 : you must be really well off.

How is that relevant?

It looks like a modern log burner, but the coal paraphernalia makes it nostalgic.

Does it make noises like a fire?

It's a nice thing to have in a home. You would not know about nice things to have in a home.
