Done a quick google and can;t find a suitable trim online for this. In the past I back cut the edge of the tile so they mated nicely with an even grout line. This time I would need to do about 200 tiles so not an option.
Anyone got a clever answer or know of a suitable trim for 45 degrees?
Builder who did our bathroom recently, had a piece of chrome plated metal strip bent to 90 degrees to finish an external corner. Can't say as I like it much, but if it was a little thinner (and bent to 45 degrees rather than 90) something similar might do the job for you.
Someone here might know depending on how long you can wait for an answer .
Where I am (Australia) every tile shop carries plastic and metal edge trims in various finishes. They come in 3M lengths and for a couple of thicknesses of tiles. I just did a step up into my bath, and because it is in a position that a mitre could get easily chipped I used a PVC one. They look in section like a quarter round with a leg on it. Say a letter"P" with a quod instead of a "D" at the top.Easy to use and set up. Gives a perfect bullnose corner.
We have them as well, but I've only ever seen them for a 90 degree angle, the OP wants something for a 45 degree angle.
