Hi was wondering if anyone out there knows the question to my answer please has I have really been trying for the past week to get more information regarding a bench grinder I purchased but came without any information or manual for the model I require so I've come to an conclusion due to lack of information to ask you guys out there for any advice or help would really be appreciated. So here we go I bought a Delta bench grinder a few weeks ago at a very reasonable price with postage so just paid for it straight away without much information has the seller didn't know much due to selling for a friend so started looking on the Internet for information regarding the bench grinder but all just had information on Delta with 120v but nothing on the 230v I purchased which at the beginning before the item got to me was a bit of a worry has I didn't fancy dragging a 120v transformer about but when it arrived I was impressed with the extra specs this 230v Delta had then the U S model 120v Delta had e.g the variable speed on the 120v is 2000 to 3450rpm & the 230v is 1720 to 2850rpm, also the tool rest is a real improvement with groves in the hole where you can adjust angle better plus the eye shield is completely different with better bigger screen & attachments & last the most impressive of all the difference due to the reviews I ready on the 120v Delta bench grinder is when the wheel come to a stand still when pressed off normally it takes around 4.30 minutes to come to a stand still but this 230v comes with a total different on & off switch, instead of the 120v up & down switch this 230v has the green & red square buttons with dust protection the ones you see on more the industrial machine & the impressive thing is that the wheel comes to a stand still at no more then 15 seconds compared to over 4 minutes that's a big improvement.
So my answer is do you think this Delta bench grinder was specifically made to order for someone with extra features add to the grinder as can't find any information just bring me to the 120v but not the same even if I put the model number that on the rear still comes up as 120v but not the same like I have with the difference RPM, Tool Rest , Eye Sheld & Power Button.
Will try had some pictures so you can see what I mean. Please any with any advice would really be appreciated...
Many Thanks...
