I had to have roots cut from my connector in my sewer line. The guy recommended that I use a foaming root killer. I purchased Roebic Root Killer (2 lbs since 1 lb only treats 50' and my line is 68ft). He said that using the basement clean out is the better way to go, but the Roebic says to use the toilet. My question is can I use the basement cleanout or should I use the toilet to apply. Any help you can give me is appreciated.
