A previous thread suggested using a shop vac near the opening (running all day) to cut their numbers down. I agree 100% with the use a powder instead of a spray.

My Bosch orbitals with variable speed have lasted over 30 years, the only breakdown on one was the bearing that jiggles the pad failed and broke up, bearing shop had one.

NO, not in my shop. A plug and receptacle provides a visual disconnect means which a wall switch does not unless you equip it with a padlock fitting and padlock. HTH
