JDS dust collector

I have the Biesemeyer and I use a dedicated shop vac for nohing but the top. It does a "fair" job but does NOT get it all. I have a LARGE 3hp DC and I tried the top with a 4" connection but the shop vac works just as well and it's not as big a hassle.

a lurking woodworkers questions.

Was far less $$$ than buying ready-made tambours from a wood supply shop and went a long way boosting my self confidence in the shop. My wife & I were very pleased to show off the deck and say, "That's right, we made the tambours ourselves!"

Fence replacement for a Sears Contractor Table Saw

I've been slowly getting my shop assembled so that I can start building real furniture, which would mean cutting hardwood. Before that I'm focusing on building things for the shop like a router table, storage, miter saw station. I figure my current saw can handle this fine.

Want longer cord for Delta TS

A home-shop table saw doesn't even come close to being a continuous load, defined by the NEC as "a load where the maximum current is expected to continue for 3 hours or more." Again: "continuous" = maximum current for 3 hours or more.

Toilet leaking from bottom (at base)

Since the horn of the toilet dumps directly into the pipe, even leaving the wax ring off completely shouldn't result in leaking water. You have another problem (probably a partial clog) *AND* a failed wax ring.

OT ... PC upgrade

Replaced it with Win2K and never had any bother after that (until I bought a new graphics card and had to upgrade to XP, which is also trouble- free). And Win 7 is considerably better than Fista. -- Halmyre

I fixed my dryer this morning

There were more intructions to put the new shop-vac together than there was to repair the dryer belt.
