Apple would probably be gone had Microoft not dumped millions into Apple. No they lost market share. Their share is squat compared to what it was before the PC came along. No, there is now hardware and software available for an Apple not produced by Apple.

both Android an Apple phones can do that... yes, if you want to keep your number you can get transfer your number to voipfone.co.uk or a&A and just pay a low monthly amount and just pay as you go for the calls you need. we have in effect done this for years... ...

No, Dynamac clones were licensed by Apple back in 1988/9. These used official Apple ROMS sourced from Apple (not copied or recovered from trashed motherboards as other clone makers did). Some more info here: What changed in the early/mid 90s was Apple licencing the ROM ...

Apple ipads (again)

Apple had the lead and some schools went for Apple and it meshed seamlessly and the parents and kids had Apple. The ball game is now different, so some better have more open systems.
