Properly written sites don't need it and as your machine isn't labouring away running the script(s) are far more responsive and quite often easier to use. Easier to use as content isn't hidden behind float over/requires a click to view a javascript "user experience enhancing feature".

They are web sites that have a moderator and are sponsored by a magazine or wood tool outlet Google search for: forum, Hand tools, woodworking or various combinations.

I mention up front, on one of my homepages, that I would rather spend time with my projects than web site development and don't care much about the amateurish look of my sites. It seems there are a lot of professional web developers lurking here abouts.

OT - Wondering about spam

For instance, we used to announce when new sites got connected to USENET for the purposes of exchanging news. (Not all sites had a IP connection. Some used dialup protocols.) In fact, the only way to get a direct connection to the ARPAnet was to be a vendor to the US government.

Hurricane-proof House

This would make the city a fun place to visit. Essentially this is the "house on stilts" idea but on a big enough scale you could house a population of 500,000 in a densely populated area. For car storage some buildings would use the lower 3 or 4 stories for car parks.

Web Sites for Colour Co-ordination inc Carpeting etc

Hi all I know you can get colour wheels from sheds for compatible paint colours, but are there any sites where you can build up a "room" to show ceiling, wall and carpet colours all at the same time? I know this is a tall order and PC colour rendition varies etc etc.
