Seeking a 24V AC adaptor

I remember snipped-for-privacy@apple-juice.co.uk (D.M. Procida) saying something like: Somebody somewhere will plug in mains to the battery pack, guaranteed. Nice explosion and fire, iwt.

More on electric cars.

I would pay nothing and only pay something once it'd been proven under load for a while. Even then I'd only pay a fiver.

OT Apprentice wages

The students are *supposed* to pay, but the overwhelming expectation is that the student's parents pay. I've never seen newspaper articles on "how to pay your university fees", but piles and piles of "how to pay your child's university fees". JGH

Morris Dovey wrote in news:hq37e4$kpb$ snipped-for-privacy@speranza.aioe.org: *snip* *snip* That's apparently how the Apple II drive worked. The stepper motor would seek inwards 40 times, ensuring the head was at track 0.

Another use for your cordless drill

I have often commented that with the new technology, Apple lets you Send texts, dictate texts, and now send sound over text. Next thing you know you will be able to talk to a person real time into a device that does all of the above.

Backyard Decked, Platform

"Swingman" wrote Well, the apple does not fall far from the tree. She is going to compare all potential suitors with dear old dad! It is difficult to find your way through a world with ever declining standards. Hopefully she will eventually finds somebody who measures up.

Knot Question

A single part rope is fine, but it does take some effort to get movement from the apple tree trunk. Just need a means of taking up and securing the slack while maintaining the tension. Phil
