Theives

Theives have access to the internet on models of safes equipment to crack the safe & security systems not to mention books on the subject. Portable light weight safes better be mounted to the floor using all known methods that can be achieved. With State of the Art Transmitters in the walls for security.

The vast majority of thieves don't read typically, they don't have technical training, they don't understand how locks or anything electrical works. And they don't think ahead.

As to security systems, the people who work at alarm companies don't understand how these work, let alone thieves! (There will usually be one or two employees who can troubleshoot these systems and totally understand them.)

If thieves are smart, can bypass alarms and defeat locks, they are not going to waste their time breaking into a house to steal things which don't have much value!

Also if they are smart, they would be more likely to have a job.
