An interesting Home Depot story, well maybe.
Ordered a couple things last night at 1AM. I figured the store is quiet at 6AM when they open and there was a good chance they'd get my two things and put it in a locker** in the lobby by 7.
Actually, they did this at 5:25, 35 minutes before they open. Wow!
Bad part: A week ago at night, I ordered a small set of assorted sabre saw blades and a garden hose connector . Within less than 12 hours I got an email that they didn't have them, (and I went to Harbor Freight, which now has another store in town closer to me.)
One of the two things I ordered a week ago that they didn't have, the hose connector, the webpage said they had 20 of, and that's what I ordered last night. They just didn't find it or didn't look hard. OTOH, I think misread what the webpage said about the blades 12 hours after I ordered it said to check other stores. So we're even.
