my window ac has heat/cool but when i turn it to heat the fan runs but does not heat. can you tell me what could be the problem. thank you gina29 snipped-for-privacy@yahoo.com

Hi, What maker/model? Did heat ever work? It could be an option.
Does the cooling actually work still? Could be low on refrigerant.
If the cooling works, could be reversing valve.
Could also be as simple as did you turn the thermostat control to warmer position?
