I am installing a laminate floor, I have some low spots in the sub floor.
I need to take up some sheet vinyl about 12 sq feet to apply a floor leveler, any ideas for the best way to do this.
Thanks
Tom

I purchased a floor scaper at Home Despot. Long handle, heavy flat blade reminds me of the tool you use to break up the thick ice on your walk. Worked just fine. I have loaned it out and had no negative feedback. Worked on tile, vinyl flooring and carpet glued to porch.

I just did that last weekend. Get a floor scraper from Home Depot about $22 with a 6'' blade. After you scrape out the vinyl layer, use a sponge soak in water an apply on the floor area that still has some paper residue. Let it soaked for 15 mins then scrape again, the paper will come out easy.
Try a patch of the leveler over the old stuff, it should work fine and save you a lot of work.
