If you look on flea-bay, you can prolly buy your tools back from the thief.
Storage units for the small stuff ; country properties for the bigger stuff :

Typical Kleptomaniac behavior. They steal for the thrill of it. Add ameasure of narcissism and they display their belirf that they are smarter than the law and will never get caught.
