I wouldn't call it ghastly but the Yaris dash does resemble the star of Alien Song.

That must have been a Yaris from another planet.
Back in the day I drove Healeys, Alfas, MG's, and Triumphs. Looking at the performance figures of those 'sports cars' versus a Yaris makes you realize the old days weren't exactly better.
I look at the Yaris as the logical extension of the original Coopers rather than the over-priced retro model.
In the last years the sedan was a rebranded Mazda 2. Mine have all been hatchbacks and were the original Vitz from the JDM. There were a few updates from 2007 to 2018 although I preferred the 2007.
I didn't care for the central location in the 2007 and 2011, but the
2018 has the instrumentation in front of the wheel. It did lose a couple of handy little compartments though.
WTF? You do realize that Sidney's wife had a wife also, right? (Sidney) Why would you assume that Sidney "leaned toward the masculine side" based on having a wife?
Why would you assume that *either* of them "leaned toward the masculine side"? There isn't always a masculine leaning member in a wife-wife relationship.
Wimp, as long as you're secured to the couch you'd be fine, here's the evidence:
Then they must have broken the conservation of momentum, which is unlikely.
I don't do headons with heavy things.
Only happened once to me. A van was overtaking a row of cars on a single carriageway. I was going the other way. The van did not accelerate as fast as he'd hoped. I just moved over a bit.
Those only count if a pig sees you. And a long couch will cover your reg number for an added bonus.
You had room to move over. Lucky you.
I lost an "I don't wear a seat belt" friend because he didn't have room to move over. Country road, essentially no shoulder. He choose to avoid the head-on by hoping that his pickup truck could handle some off-road driving. It was going well until he hit a rut and rolled his truck. They estimate that he was ejected - due to no seatbelt - as the truck righted itself. Rock vs. head. Rock won.
It's the kinetic energy which is important, not the momentum. KE=mv^2.
afaik in this state as long as you tie a red bandanna on the end the only laws involved are those of physics. When the front wheels have minimal contact with the ground you have a problem. That's when you find some fat friends to sit on the hood.
LOL!
Nice one.
Heavy things may well do headons with you. But headons are not the worst danger these days with crumple zones/headrests/air bags etc. side impacts and rollovers or a crushed roof..
Well, bye then. I cant say its been a pleasure knowing you, but I'll send a seatbelt to your funeral
It's a xposting troll, PDFTT.
urc dropped
You mean people with balls.
And why would the seat suddenly fly forwards just because it can fold when you press the lever?
Would have to be very old. I drive old bangers and I can only remember one without central locking, my first one I bought in 1997 which was built in 1988.
There's a Canadian Clare in the newsgroups who claims to be a man. I don't believe her.
I took "kill someone" to mean "another person". Nobody cares if people kill themselves.
Yet it's illegal to endanger only myself with no seatbelt.
It has, they want to control everything we do.
If it's got bad enough for the driver to be flung out of his seat, there's not much chance of any control happening, belted or not.
