Offered just for the interesting videos.

But one part deserves comment: Just before minute 7 it shows women's tennis and the narrator say it shows "clearly shows how uncomfortable women felt competing in those long dresses." No it doesn't. It shows them competing in long dresses. It is up to the viewer to imagine how uncomfortable they felt, or not, and the viewer might be right or wrong in what he imagines.

This is related to what news reporters do now when they say (as if it were reporting) that Greene believes, Trump is angry, Biden thinks, ... all those places where the so-called reporter seems to think he can read people's minds, or just naively believes that whatever image someone puts forth is an accurate representation of how he actually feels. That no one ever lies.

You're not wrong. However my takeawy from the video is not that the long dresses were much of a problem, but that the armscye and sleeves were constructed so that the women could raise their arms above their heads. Some fashionable garments did not allow that sort of movement.

And I'm sure any viewer with two brain cells to rub together will do precisely that.
