OT, strange bank options

I was browsing around my credit card's website and these are two categories of options for customer service: Card Services Debit Card Services Activate My Debit Card Deactivate My Debit Card Reissue My Existing Debit Card or ATM Card Change My Debit Card PIN CREDIT CARD SERVICES Report a Lost or Stolen Card Replace a Damaged Card Dispute or Ask About a charge Request Account Disclosures Isn't it strange none of the choices for debit cards are choices for credit cards, and not vice versa either. I would assume that all 8 apply to both (although I don't know what account disclosures are. Is that the terms and conditions?)

It's a new car or a used car - why complicate things with " titled " ... ? is what I'm saying. Dunno. Where I live - a new car will not sit on the lot for years - ever. On a very rare occasion you might see a new car that is

2-model-years-old ... it will be drastically discounted. My car < crappy Kia Rondo > was purchased literally off the showroom floor - but it was 1 model-year-old - the discount was about $ 3,000. off list price. I figured there was not much wiggle room - but I made an offer that included 4 winter tires on rims - and I declined every extra - : rust proofing : extended warranty : floor mats : wifi etc etc Recent Hyundai adverts seem to support that ~ 3 grand is the Canadian discount on last years models. We were out the door for $26,000 and a F150 (clunker) for a $53,000 (sticker) Lincoln.

My December reply stated it is a 2017 model.

It's not been sitting on their lot for years. It's been on their lot since summer.

Well, I'm also looking at the same car in Kansas with 5600 miles on it. It has the EXACT SAME features as this untitled car I will be test driving on Thursday; same engine, same size wheels, same everything. The only difference is the color and it's listed for $41,399; the one I will be gazing at has 11 miles on it and it's listed for $53,800. No way, no how, will I pay $53,800.

There's two or three others on AutoTrader that have caught my eye and I've looked at the Carfax report for all of them.

Look carefully at all the history of a used car - make sure that it isn't an insurance write-off or previous daily rental. Here in Canada, the unscrupulous dealers will hide the cars history by border-crossing - out-of-province or out-of-country is a red flag. The discount off those new 50 grand vehicles will be much more than my 20 grand econo hatchback. I've heard of 10 grand discounts on fancy pick-up trucks - to clear out last model year for brand new ones or demo units. John T.
