OT: Selling Stuff on Craigslist

That ^^ and its too easy now to get used stuff off Ebay,and new stuff from Amazon. I too used to buy and sell on C-List, but no more.

And our neighborhood Facebook page does a brisk business, especially free stuff.

Try Ebay, bet you'll get higher prices and come out ahead too, even after Ebay takes their 10% cut. That's like the world's best business, isn't it? Not stocking, no shipping, no loading the site with the descriptions, just match buyers with sellers and take 10%.

Cant be that given that the facebook buy swap sell groups are doing so well.

We do see a few use public places to meet with the facebook buy swap sell groups but they are the exception.

Uncertain of your area but mine is still prospering fairly well. I, like you, do the same and ignore the scam/spam crap and most items go within days. If you've ever given free stuff away, that will be gone within minutes or hours. Overall, it appears to be doing well here, though I haven't sold much lately but always searching when I want to buy. In fact, I just bought a trailer yesterday and going to look at a fridge tomorrow.

Sure, that's why Ebay rakes in BILLIONS, f****it. You have a sunroof motor for a 2000 Mercedes sitting on your shelf. Good luck selling that to some local guy who's going to drive over.
