It's about 921,000 U.S. if I did the conversion right. I think a Canadian dollar equals $0.75 U.S.

Tried to bid but my Visa credit limit did not cover it as I have a $1 million limit.

1 million US would be pretty close !

.. and you do not need to have the money - ... just a good credit rating !

.. in my area - less than 2 hours from this - vacant decent farm land would sell for a million for 100 acres - no ski resorts ... just farm land. John T.

Sale over. Just under $955,000. U.S. There isn't much farm ground for sale in my area so I couldn't get a decent comparison. The one I did find was listed for $6,500/acre. No buildings but pivot irritated.

Really surprised that property went that cheap. If the winning bidder puts it on the market - not by auction, in the spring he COULD almost double his money

without buildings I've seen them go for more.

Not familiar with the area but land is fairly cheap.

Also the other day I looked up an old coworker living in Virginia and he has house and 139 acres valued at 1.3 million.

I was a few years ago that a neighbor passed on and his house an 22 acres sold for $600,000.

I'll admit it's nicer than Buffalo but that's a damn low bar.

Did you notice the phone booth in the picture? Superman is still welcome.

Most of my neighbors are white, a fair number of Hispanic, and one black family. The kids in the black family must be kindergarten age or a little older. Everything is new to them and no lack of energy.

I don't picture the demographics of most Nebraska counties changing. Farms and ranches are passed down from one generation to the next. It's just too expensive to start.

Like in the picture, even in the 50's most booths had glass doors. When he changes clothes in a phone booth, can't people still see what he's doing?

I'm sorry I couldn't find these details on the page. Maybe they were removed after the sale?

Just google-map-streetview it :

496235 GREY RD 2, CLARKSBURG, Ontario, L0M 1G0, Canada

Also - the auction listing has a drone video along with the photos. Also google maps has it 1:45 from Toronto's Pearson Airport ; just over 2 hours to downtown Toronto. John T.
