That's a paddling pool. to be a swimming pool it has to be deep enough so you can't touch the bottom.

If I can stand on the bottom with my head out of the water, it's a paddling pool, a kid's toy.

There is nothing stupid about an admission of being unfamiliar with something. It is a sign of strength to be able to. Curious why you fail to understand that.
