Why would something from a a famous maker not have the maker's name on the case where it will be seen?
In the Free Stuph box at a hamfest today, I got an RF modulator, model SWS2103W/17
It turns out it's made by Philips but it doesn't say that on the front, only in tiny print in the lable on the bottom. Why do you suppose that is?
There's one on Ebay complate with the bubble pack/label, and the cardboard boldly says Philips.
OTOH, this vendor calls it, for good reason, "Unbranded":

BTW, I have one that I use to take my digital TV tuner output and send it to 8 tvs, in every room in the house (although I only use 3 of them now.) but it may break someday (I think one broke 10 years ago) and this was free. Assuming it works, it's actually nicer than the one I'm using. In addtion to what mine has this has RCA audio stereo inputs and outputs plus yellow (video?) and S-video (input or output, I don't know which) And it's switchable from ch 3 to 4 with a light on the front to show you which one you're using! I love free stuph.
