I started some tomato plants inside and after they got a few inches tall I moved them to some larger pots. Using some garden soil I got at Lowes I am now noticing some mushrooms comming up from the soil in the pots.
Is this going to be harmful to my tomato plants ? It will still be about 2 weeks before it will be save to move them to the garden due to frost.
A lot of people put mushrooms on pizza. Now you got the tomato paste and the mushrooms for your pizza.
As it was only one $ 2 OR $ 3 bag, it is not worth the trouble to return.
My issue is will they cause my tomatoes any problems. Seems like I will be ok. I had used some potting soil and put about 15 seeds in it. When they grew to a couple of inches, I used some larger pots to put each one in. The object was to get them started inside for eairly tomatoes. It worked fine last for the first time I tried it from seeds instead of buying plants. Just used a different soil from Lowes as it was on sale. ThiNk it was only $ 2 for a bag.
Good thinking if those mushrooms do not kill off the tomators. I like pizza with lots of things on it.
