How do I keep the bottom of newly replaced Masonite from rotting out?

Where is this? If it is exposed to the weather you need to use a better product. You can postpone the inevitable by sealing the edges well but you need to protect all 6 sides.

Fix all the plumbing leaks so the masonite stays dry.
